The art of passing on: Institut Paul Pyronnet
Summary of Paul Pyronnet's career
Paul Pyronnet is a well-known name in the world of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and personal development in France.
He has over 35 years' experience as a trainer, speaker and coach. His humanist and passionate approach to teaching is reflected in every one of his presentations.
In addition to his technical mastery, Paul is renowned for his involvement with his trainees and his ability to make complex concepts accessible. He founded the Institut Paul Pyronnet to offer training that is not limited to theory, but that also aims to profoundly transform individuals, helping them to reveal their full potential. His commitment to people and group dynamics is at the heart of all his initiatives.
The art of transmitting: A Training Course for Trainers Like No Other
This training was part of my 6-month challengeIt was a step that I'm delighted to have taken. When you do training, you evolve no matter what, but some training brings you more than others and really helps you progress. That's why I'm continuing to train regularly and why I've started again this year.
After all, what better investment can you make than in yourself? And every now and then, you come across a course that's a real 'game changer'.
The Institut Paul Pyronnet's training for trainers (the art of passing on knowledge) is very different from other courses available on the market. It is not simply technical training; it is an immersion in a rich and profound human experience. Here are the aspects that make all the difference.
1. Paul Pyronnet's availability and commitment
What strikes you straight away is Paul's exceptional availability throughout the course. Unlike many training courses where trainers limit themselves to their official sessions, Paul goes far beyond that. Every day, after the classes, he offers additional workshops, the themes of which are chosen in collaboration with the participants. These workshops, which often last between 1.5 and 2 hours, are a real opportunity to delve deeper.
What's more, Paul is accessible at all times for questions or informal discussions, including during meals. This involvement creates a unique atmosphere of closeness and trust, and testifies to his genuine interest in people. This passion can be felt in the way he teaches, making the experience even more rewarding.
2. A human experience focused on group cohesion
From the very first day, there was a real sense of cohesion within the group. Paul knows how to create a welcoming and caring environment, where everyone feels comfortable expressing themselves and sharing. This group dynamic is essential, as it fosters collective intelligence and enables us to go far beyond the simple accumulation of knowledge.
The training is based on rich exchanges and strong interaction between participants. Rather than imposing a rigid structure, Paul encourages collaboration and co-construction, creating a framework in which everyone contributes actively, and this is above all what he teaches in this train-the-trainer course.
3. An approach based on leadership and collective intelligence
Contrary to what you might think, being a trainer does not require you to be an absolute expert in a particular field. This course focuses on facilitation with a capital A. Paul shows how to draw on the collective intelligence of the group to achieve educational objectives.
It was a revelation for many of the participants (myself being the first): most of the points on the programme emerged naturally from the collective discussions and reflections. This method radically transforms the way we approach training. We're moving from unilateral transmission to co-construction, where the human element takes centre stage.
4. A different audience, far removed from group therapy
Another special feature of this course is its audience. Unlike conventional hypnosis or NLP courses, which can sometimes be likened to "group therapy" (yes, I know I'm a bit of a tease sometimes), this course is aimed at people who want above all to learn how to pass on and lead.
This change of approach is particularly welcome for those who, like me, have moved away from the world of hypnosis or personal development after having been heavily involved in it. Here, the objective is clear: to develop skills in facilitation and transmission, in a professional and caring environment.
5. A two-part structure
Paul Pyronnet's training course for trainers is divided into two distinct parts, totalling 8 days of training. This division allows the fundamentals to be covered first, before going on to deepen and consolidate what has been learnt in a second phase. This two-stage organisation facilitates the integration of learning and provides the time needed to practise and assimilate the shared tools.
The art of transmitting: Passionate and enriching transmission
Paul Pyronnet's passion for people is palpable throughout the course. This passion is reflected in his lively, engaging and deeply human approach to teaching. Paul doesn't just pass on knowledge; he embodies what he teaches and inspires his trainees to do the same.
Immersing yourself in such a rich course offers unexpected elements. Even without having studied the content in detail beforehand (to keep things a little more suspenseful), you discover lessons that go far beyond your expectations.
Financing Training
One of the most important questions when you decide to train is how to finance it. Although it seems to me that the CPF (Compte Personnel de Formation) cannot be used for this training, there are other solutions. Personally, I turned to an OPCO (Opérateur de Compétences), which covered all the training costs, i.e. 2,450 euros, with the exception of travel and accommodation on site (that's no exaggeration ;-)).
If you're not familiar with the OPCOs, you should know that there are several depending on your sector of activity. As a retailer, I had already called on them during my training at the CCI's "managers' school", and they took care of everything. I'd like to thank them here too, because as I said earlier, this training for trainers was a real 'game changer'. It just goes to show the extent to which finding out about possible funding can open doors to incredible opportunities.
